We all know that eyes are very important to us, but why we often take them for granted. We’ve been busy taking care of skin, hair and other parts of the body, but mostly we put eye care aside.
The most common problems we encounter in eye care are usually crow’s feet and dark circles. These eye problems are easy to solve. During my research, I found that the following eye care tips are very helpful to me. I hope these tips can help you too.

Tip 1: get plenty of rest
The most used part of our body is the eye. Have you noticed that you suffer from migraines while driving, especially when you encounter bright lights from other cars at night? I usually have them. I found that resting eyes mean less migraines. Rest is one of the most important tasks in eye care.
Tip 2: good nutrition
Fruits and vegetables are an excellent eye care diet. Usually, yellow fruits and vegetables are the best. These fruits and vegetables are rich in β-carotene. Papaya, mango, pumpkin, and even spinach are important sources of beta-carotene. These types of foods can help improve and maintain eye health.
Tip 3: drink a lot of water
The skin around our eyes is very thin and full of blood vessels at the bottom. Drinking plenty of water can prevent puffiness around the eyes. Do you know why our eyes are sometimes puffy? Our body has a defense mechanism: every time we are dehydrated, our body retains some water, which leads to swelling. Drinking eight or more glasses of water every day can help our body detoxify.
Tip 4 eye exercises
Yes it is! There is also some form of exercise for the eyes. Exercising the eyes can provide enough oxygen and make them function better. In fact, I found these exercises relaxing. I notice there is a 30 second interval between two tasks before moving my eyes. I move my eyes from side to side, then up and down. Another exercise I will do to avoid blurred vision is to hold the pencil, straighten the arm, and slowly extend it towards the nose. Make sure to line up your eyes with the pencil.
Tip 5: Avoid excessive friction
Our eyes are one of the most sensitive parts of the human body. The best way to take care of your eyes is to avoid rubbing your eyes. This operation will only make your eyes more irritated. The best thing to do is to flash them. If foreign objects get into your eyes, it is best to wash them with milk. Milk is a natural cleanser and does not cause further eye irritation.
Tip 6 use sunglasses
Wear sunglasses on sunny days if you go out during the day. This will help protect my eyes from the harmful rays of the sun. When resting, it is helpful to place cucumber slices or tea bags under your eyes. These can prevent dark circles and wrinkles from appearing around your eyes.
